Cygnus Medicare was formed by a group of highly skilled doctors in the year 2011 with a vision to open centres for tertiary care throughout North India. It offers surgeries in the areas of emergency care & elective procedures including specialized surgeries like Joint Replacement, Neuro & Spine surgeries, Trauma surgeries, Minimal Access surgeries, Urology, Advanced Ophthalmology, Advanced ENT, and Fertility in the backdrop of Intensive Care environment of International Standards.
Cygnus aims to create healthcare brand for Tier 2 & Tier 3 communities through its NABH accredited hospitals focused on delivering affordable and quality tertiary healthcare to underserved communities in smaller towns of India.
The company is a multispecialty hospital chain also providing emergency care and tertiary care services in districts and Tier II towns in Haryana and low income areas at the outskirts of Delhi. The model provides affordable and quality healthcare in areas where such services were earlier not available.
Post investment, the company has increased its network from 5 to 12 hospitals with each hospital having 100 beds and facilities including ICUs, OTs, Cath Labs, Neurology and Orthopedic Surgery. Each hospital is manned by ~100 paramedical staff & technicians and 10 doctors which includes substantial number of women employees.
