Sandor medicaids pioneers in point of care products. It is a distributor of specialty pharmaceuticals, diagnostic products, & medical devices in the critical care segment. It also provides dialysis services through its subsidiary Sparsh Nephro care.
Sandor has been the first company to bring “Point of Care” concept to the Indian ICU in 1996 by launch of I-stat, a state of the art product for emergency monitoring of patients. It has a national level distribution network with CFR compliant cold chain facilities covering most of Indian states and strong branch distribution network supporting drug and device manufacturers launch products with ready access to hospitals across India.
The company manages a cold chain network for distributing niche pharmaceuticals, diagnostic products and medical devices to the acute care segments of hospitals and has a pan India presence.
Post investment, the company expanded its Pan India distribution network from 800 to 1500 hospitals across India with most of this expansion in tier I and tier II cities in India. Sandor also expanded its sales force from 30 people to over ~150 at exit.
Sandor Nephro – A subsidiary of Sandor Medicaids runs a chain of dialysis centers.
Post investment, the company increased its footprint from just 2 to 50 centers with each center having 5-7 dialysis machines and manned by 5-7 technicians and typically at least 1-2 doctors.
