Brij has more than 20 years of experience as a manager and entrepreneur in the international markets. Brij has extensive knowledge of the US and India healthcare markets including the health insurance business.  He has also served as Past Chair of the International Committee at SIIA USA (Self Insurance Institute). Besides India, Brij has extensive experience in international markets including the Middle East, Central America and the USA.

Brij is the founder and Chairman of MDIndia, one of the largest TPAs in India with more than 6M lives and $250M under management. He also founded Tela Sourcing, Inc., an outsourcing company focused on servicing the US healthcare insurance market with operation centers in the US and India.  Tela was recognized by Gartner as one of the leading specialized companies in the healthcare BPO space. Brij successfully sold Tela in Aug 2010 to Apax-controlled TriZetto, Inc. Brij launched Express Clinics, a network of Primary and Urgent Care Clinics in India.  Express Clinics aims to transform the healthcare delivery in India by opening more than 500 clinics across India.  Somerset Indus Capital Partners also provided expansion capital to Express to set up 40 new clinics in nine cities across India.

He has an MBA from Yale University and an Engineering degree from India.
