Akanksha joined Somerset in 2025. She is an impact and healthcare-focused professional with experience spanning investments, portfolio management, and strategic partnerships.

She is currently an Impact Manager at Somerset, where she focuses on developing and managing global investor relationships while driving strategic impact initiatives across the portfolio. She leads impact due diligence, monitoring, and reporting for portfolio companies, ensures alignment with relevant impact frameworks, and presents impact updates to boards and LPs.

Prior to joining Somerset, Akanksha was associated with India Healthcare Fund, where she led portfolio management activities. She also worked with the Indian Dental Association, driving impact partnerships, served as an Investment Analyst at Pureland Group, and contributed to multiple projects at ERC Eye Care.

Akanksha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Symbiosis.
