Salonee is a strategy and corporate development leader with over 15 years of experience specializing in M&A, cross-border deals, integration, AI-led product strategy, and global growth. Salonee joined Somerset in 2026 and focuses on fund management, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring and value addition efforts at Somerset.

Prior to joining Somerset, Salonee served as Associate Director – Strategy & Corporate Development at Cactus Communications, where she led acquisitions in Switzerland and the UK, successfully managed post-merger integration, and played a pivotal role in scaling the Life Sciences business through a combination of strategic investments and operational initiatives. She also spearheaded the launch of a new business line in China and partnered closely with the board on enterprise-level strategic priorities, including AI-driven product strategy.

Earlier in her career, Salonee advised on strategic sales and fundraises at BDA Partners and worked as an independent consultant, supporting clients on cross-border transactions and growth strategy mandates.

Salonee holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Mumbai.
